proRheo products now available in the US and Canada through Maple Instruments, Ltd.

Maple Instruments Ltd. is pleased to announce that they have entered into an exclusive agreement with proRheo GmbH to distribute their viscometer and rheometer products in the US and Canada. "Adding the proRheo product line was a natural extension of our business" said Bruce Rudolph, Managing Director of Maple Instruments, Ltd. "We currently service older versions of these instruments, so when it comes time to replace or upgrade them our customers know they can trust us to provide quality instrumentation at competitive prices".

Technical Consultant appointed

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ram Shah has been appointed as Technical Consultant for Maple Instruments. Mr. Shah has over 20 years of experience with Rheometrics as a senior engineer and we are very pleased to have his services.

To Our Valued Customer

As you probably know, Rheometric Scientific was purchased by their competitor TA Instruments in January 2003. This has resulted in several important things you should be made aware of.

Since the purchase, TA Instruments has made it quite clear that they intend to discontinue service support in any capacity for the older Rheometrics Instruments. For a complete list of these instruments please see their Web Page.

Our own contract with Rheometric Scientific has now expired and we will no longer be selling the Rheometric/TA product line. Please note we have no affiliation with TA Instruments.

However, after many years of association with Rheometrics we want to make it clear that you do have a choice. Maple Instruments Ltd will continue to offer service support on current and older instruments. This includes repair, scheduled maintenance, calibration and training.

It is our intention that you should not have to buy replacement instruments needlessly. Contact us directly if you have any questions concerning service support of your present Rheometrics Instrumentation.
